How long after zip?

I went into lockdown yesterday afternoon. I had one chick hatch this morning, and one egg zip. It has a good crack along most of it's diameter. However, all day it has done nothing more. I read that zip->hatch is usually very fast. At what point should I be worried? Is it likely to be still absorbing the yolk at this point?

most likly he is still absorbing the yolk as long as he stikll movs and he has air he be ok they also slepp alot

I don't know how to tell whether it is moving, other than just staring at it for a long time.

Chicks take up to 24 hours to hatch. Some pip early then rest and absord the yolk more before they are actively hatching. Be patient.
