How long are birds contagious after recovering from Fowl Pox?

I've never noticed any adverse reaction to the regular fowl pox vaccine? Honestly? I'd just use the regular fowl pox vaccine since I think it might be similarly priced or cheaper anyways. I think I only paid like 13 bucks for a vial not including shipping
It's also possible that advice is outdated because that was from when the vaccine was crushed and diluted fowl pox scabs and I don't think they did much to attenuated the virus. Now they raise the strains on chick embryos. (This fowl pox situation has taken me to a lot of sources.)

I have only seen the couple pox vaccine sold by ValleyVet and JeffersPet. There is a turkey pox as well. They become immune to the particular strain they get. The vaccine is around $15, but you then have to pay for 2 day shipping, a cooler, and ice pack or they will not guarantee it. Do you have any pictures of the ones with pox?
