How long before allowing free range, and neighbor has free ranging flock

Previous owners say "Connie" was no at all aggressive, I agree with them, he's being a gentleman. Coop is 4x4' and sits 24" above a 4x8' run. We have 6 panels of a 6' tall dog run we found on craigslist for $50, if rain lets up today we're going to set it up tied to the access door to run so the flock can get some good exercise. After a couple weeks, we'll let them free range four days a week (our days off work).

Game does not mean aggressive but does make for good harem master. Make certain birds are properly acclimated to coop and open it up for ventilation when nights start getting warm to prevent birds from drifting. Your rooster might push neighbors flock out, might.
