How long before can eat eggs?

How long after you give chickens wormer is it safe to eat the eggs?
First time worming my chickens.

Hi, and welcome to BYC!!!

You need to read the instructions and warnings on the bottle of wormer that you used to get an idea of when it is safe to eat the eggs again. Some say to never use a particular wormer in animals meant for human consumption (that includes the eggs).

I generally wait about 2 or 3 weeks, I think that is the general amount of time *most* people will reccomend. I wouldnt eat any eggs that hadnt been at least that long since worming. You can do a search here on BYC since that question is very common, and you should get lots of good advice.

The bottle doesnt say how long to wait. It just says to not to consume eggs when using the product (wazine)
