how long before eggs are fertile

I have my bantams,hens and roosters together,my question is how long do the hens have to be seperate from the roosters for the eggs not to be fertile,and,then when I reintroduce a hen to a rooster how long before will it take her eggs be fertile again

i don't know about the reintroduction part, but i have heard it takes about 3-4 weeks for the hens to not have a rooster's sperm in her system.

it also takes 1 or 2wks for a hen tobe fertile from running with a roo.
