How long before free ranging?

I have five 18 week olds that have been free ranging for two or three weeks. They have been with me 3 months. When it is time to roost, they come back all on their own.
Two days ago, I bought five year old Bovan Browns. I am keeping them separate right now. How long do I need to wait until I let them free range. How long does it take for them to identify their coop as home? I want to work them into being one flock in one coop

New birds should be quarantined for a month to insure they are healthy and will not spread disease to your first chickens. At that time, providing there is no health issue, all the birds can be housed together and allowed to free range after a couple days. I'd start them off by releasing them late in the day, 3 PM, and watch them to ensure they all go back to the coop for the night. If that goes well, free range the flock as you did before you got the new stock.
