How long before giving up?

I dont think I will be doing another hatch soon. Seeing the little ones dead inside the eggs once is enough for me. I dont think my heart can take it! Just put ducky one in with ducky two and I dont think they get along very well!!!! Is this normal?

They may just be trying to establish a peck order...as long as its not excessive they should be okay

They seem to be getting along just fine now, they are both sleeping at the moment. Its funny when they wake up, even if there is no noise they wake up as if an explosion has gone off!!
