How long before he crows?

I have a 16 week old light sussex cockerel that i heard clucking this morning, is this normal? How long before he crows and starts mating with the hens?

He shpuld be right around now but some are different and will take longer then others

From what i have read on byc i knew it wouldn't be long before he started crowing, but it surprised me when i heard him clucking like a hen, i didn't think cockerels clucked.
