One of my hens hurt her leg somehow (I made another thread about that) and I've been keeping her in the house in a box to keep an eye on her. It's been 2 days now. My hope is that by Monday she's well enough to walk again, and I can put her back with the others, but what if she's not? After Monday, I'll be at work all day, so I don't want to dump her in there and leave if there's going to be trouble. If I have to wait until next weekend, should I ease her into it? Should I even ease her into it if I do put her out Monday? I brought her in on Friday, when I discovered her injury.
My thought is that if she can't walk well enough on Monday to wait until the weekend to put her back, just to keep an eye on them. At that point, I assume I'll have to ease her into it, right? She's getting lonely in there, though, but hobbles around, and I think the rest is helping.
