How long before resuming normal egg laying after a brood?

My young, first-timer, hatched 3 peepers a week ago. Im just wondering when my hen will resume laying eggs? Is there a norm range of time?

It depends on the breed and on whether you are allowing her to brood the chicks or if you took them away.

She is playing mama to them. So Im guessing that will delay things a bit. Do you know how long before she loosens the apron-strings a bit and resumes her laying? Im not sure of the breed as she is a wild bird. Here is her picture
