How long between laying?

I've recently got 3 rangers, 1 light sussex and 1 speckly. They're all 20 weeks old and have been laying for about a week. But we only seem to be getting 1 egg a day from 5 chickens

All I want to know is the time it normally takes between each egg laid for another to be ready.

Mine started out laying irregularly, then after a few weeks I got an egg a day from each of them. I was still feeding them starter feed along with oats & whatever they got from the yard. I think it'll even out soon.

Mine are all adults - 2 Orloffs, 3 Delawares and 2 RIR's -Tues I had 6, Weds 5 and so far today 3 - depends on the hens I guess!

I have barred rocks, light bramas, banty cochins, ameraucanas, RIR's, and one sex link. I get about an egg a day from all of them.
