How long...? (brooder)

I am using a 49 gallon tub from wally world as a brooder. I have 4 chicks total, a week old now. 2 BR and 2 EE chicks. How long do you think they could stay in a brooder this size? Right now they are swimming with room, but when they are moved out to the coop it will be a transition with the heat light. Any examples of moving your own birds and age please do say. I am worried to move them out earlier then 4 weeks, because they seem so vunurable. My coop is real secure, but I get worried when they are little.

well...by 8 weeks old, theyre all featherd in and can be outside

I moved mine into the big coop when they were about 5 weeks give or take a week (they were not all the same age) But I live in Texas so the weather was warm enough to do it with a heat lamp out there with them now the rule of thumb is..............."feathered out or weather permiting"...................... Unless you have a momma hen with her chicks then she will handle everything for you.
