How long can a broody hold her poop?

Our broody hasn’t pooped since yesterday, and we have a few pips under her. How long can she go without pooping? She’s young, and this is her first time hatching eggs. I just checked on her, and she threw up clear liquid (probably from holding poop in)! I don’t want to risk her health or the pipped eggs losing humidity and heat. Should I take her off or keep her there?

I'd take her off for a quick break - the eggs will be fine, even if they are pipping.

I'd for sure take her off. Give her some clean water with a couple drops of apple cider vinegar and she should be fine. The chicks will be fine.
