How long can a hen be broody for????

Oh you are in for a treat soon I hope! It is very charming for sure. It so happens a hen came out with her babies recently:

Haha thanks for the kind words.. naked necks are my favorite breed. She has 15 babies.. her sister hatched out 17 several weeks ago, here are pictures of her:

Are they her babies? Or did she steal some other hens' eggs? (Just curious as to how you got those yellow looking ones)
 
They;re not her own... I don't have an incubator due to bad allergies to chick dander.. so when a hen goes broody I get way over excited and try to cram eggs from this and that under them....

To be fair though, they are exceptional and I had many years selecting and knowing how to use broody hens from hatching peafowl eggs under hens.
 
Heh, I know the feeling. If you haven't tried incubation via ringneck doves you haven't reached the level of desperation that was me yet

It worked until the chicks hatched and scared the heck out of their adopted parents...

They are exceptional! Have you got any more pictures of your hens?
