Hello all I have been bringing eggs to work to sell to my co-workers. I pick up my job assignments and leave the office for the day. I generally leave a few dozen eggs on my desk with an envelope to put payments in. These eggs are less than one week old, have been kept in my basement (approx 40 degrees) and then left out on my desk for a few hours at room temp (70 degrees?). I will be getting a small cooler to be kept on my desk for the summer months.

Is this a safe practice?? I don't want anyone getting sick!!

Thanks for your info

Sure it sounds just fine, you won't have any problems with that practice.
