How long can eggs last without heat?

Just curious, why only 2 hours on the inverter?

I have an old 24 year old chevy K1500 that I didn't want to draw power from. While Old Bessie is reliable, she is old.

We happened to have a car jump-starter (basically a big battery), so we fully charged that big battery and plugged the inverter into it, then plugged the incubator into the inverter. That big battery powered the incubator and it ran out of juice after 2 hours.
