Hi chicken friends...

How long can I keep eggs before I incubate them ? And how do I store them to increase fertility until I do ?

I just got a lovely assortment of fertile eggs.... but i dont want to incubate them now, I'd like to wait a few months. I know the fertility rate goes down and all.. but I was hoping I could store them and hatch when weather here is a little nicer

or has anyone had any success hatching eggs in winter months then moving them out to barn under heat light ?

thanks for your thoughts...

Recommended not to store past 7days. The longer you store them the less viable the eggs will be. You can store them in a cool place like a closet or under the bed while turning them daily.
