How long do chickens need electrolytes in their water?

I've wondered about that also.....dogs don't get electrolytes, either.

Your correct, and dogs also don't sweat. I almost forgot, I do use some electrolytes, the kind WITH vitamins & minerals added when mixing up soaked feed for the young stuff. I don't know if it helps them or not but I enjoy the way that they can make a bucket full of soaked feed disappear down their pie hole.
