Ok, I had neglected to clean out the coop because of all the snow. So I opened it up today and was surprised to see that the chickens had quite a pile of eggs in the corner. I didn't know they weren't laying up in the box. It has been cold until recently and the membrane would be intact. Would these eggs be ok if they are a month old?

Me personaly, I wouldn't eat them I don't think after that long. They will lay more eggs daily that you KNOW are fresh. To be safe I would stick with that. Someone else here may say different but thats just my opionon.

thanks.

How about boiling them and feeding them back to the hens?
