How long do I acclimate my eggs in the incubator from room temp?

    Is that important? It's important with fish. I thought I had read that here somewhere but now I cant find it.
    Also can you tell me, in an egg carton, the little end of the egg goes down right? and the air pocket will be at the big end?

    Im pretty sure you let the eggs get to room temp(if they are cold from being shipped) and have the incubator turned on and running at the correct temp then put your eggs in and wait an hour or two to let them warm up before you make any adjustments to temperature. And yes eggs should be pointed end down :)
