how long do i care for them in a brooder

I am getting baby Road Island Reds next week and its already warm outside when should I take them out of my brooder.

You can raise them outdoors starting on day one.
You will need to make sure you have a very secure coop first though.

You can let them wander for a bit but keep a sharp eye on em.

Week 1 = 90 degrees
Week 2 = 85 degrees
Week 3 = 80 degrees
Lower the brooder temp. by 5 degrees each week. They may go outside when night temperatures are as high as what the brooder temp would be. I'm in Florida, so our daytime temps are in the 90s. Our night temps, however, are in the mid 70s, so it will be awhile longer before I can let mine stay out at night without heat.
