How long do I have to Incubate?

I have one hen and one rooster I want to have chicks. How long do I have to put eggs in the incubator if she lays 3 to 4 a week and I want a little more then that in the incubator?

I would say 14 days at the most for the first egg layed. so you should have 6 to 8 eggs to incubate.

Do you have any friends who have chickens and a rooster? I would suggest asking them for some of their eggs, - that way you can have other bloodlines in your chicks. Otherwise, you can save the eggs for about 2 weeks, don't refrigerate them, store them point down in a cool area. When you have enough - put them in your incubator all at once. They should hatch in 21+ days if they are all fertile! Good luck!
