How long do I have to keep them separated?

There's about 48 sqft in the coop. The run will be around 100 sqft. Maybe a bit bigger. It will be finished tomorrow. I figured it would be ok to home them in the coop while the run is finished.....

If you can divide the coop to keep the bullies away, do so. Don't lock them in there together or you will have issues.
100 SQ ft will not be large enough for the initial integration. Can you let them out of the run?

My opinion is that you might have to keep them apart for a few days to let their emotions simmer down.
My orps are a pretty docile bunch. And the reason I even brought up Rosey is that she grabbed ahold of Dolly comb last year and swung her around until the comb tore off at the base.
It was a blood bath.
So just be out there with your sneakers and referee’s shirt on when you set them loose !

Lol. My daughter was out there this morning looking into the coop and told me it looked like the orps were stuck in the wall (pallets). I initially told her they were probably just perching or something, because I apparently don't know enough about chickens...But I went in the coop and realized they were behind the nesting boxes trying to hide in the pallet holes of the wall. So then I stood in the corner guarding the orps for like 20 mins while my son cut down the chicken wire. Those reds are persistent. They kept trying to get around me. So I told them they were going to get eaten first, lol. I'm not yet sure if I was bluffing.

There are 5 orps, and 10 others...a couple black sex links, a barred rock, a couple (white? rocks), and a couple RIRs, and I'm not sure which the other 3 are.

You are spacially challenged! Leads to behavioral issues. Compounded by resident Ill tempered hens.

Why did your neighbor give you 10 additional chickens? I'd give a minimum of 5 of them back that included the worst of the bullies.

48 sq ft it just 4 sq ft per chicken but you got to figure Orp are "bigger" ... So techincally at 4sq ft per chicken, the max for your coop is 12 birds. My "open air" Chicken House is 8x12x7 = 96sq ft, no run. 4BOs fit nicely but anymore would be "tight"
