How long do i wait to incubate my shipped eggs?

how long do they have to set out before incubating? and my hen just layed an egg should that sit out the same amount of time too?

I usually wait 12 to 24 hours on shipped eggs. The one laid by your hen should be fine to put right inn unless you tossed it around on the way to the house. Good luck with your hatch!

I wait 24-48 hours.

I wait about 6-8 hours so they can warm up to room temp. Then I put them in the incubator but turn off the turner for the first 24 hours, then turn it back on.

Sundown, why do you turn off the turner? I have heard that they need to be turned 3-5 times a day.
