how long do I wait?

Of our 13 eggs(all candeled, all fertile) 5 under mama hatched overnight day 21, its now late day 23 and still only the five. How long do we wait and what do we do? Do we intervene and if so how?

Depends, did you set them all the same date or did she collect the eggs along the way as hens laid them? Often it's best to let her make the call just be sure to have a chicke feeder and waterer near by so the hatched ones can learn to eat and drink.

Good question, I have a broody who is due to hatch on Mon. and I was wondering the same thing.

Nope, all set the same day, laid within 2 days of each other, from a friend who has 1800 of them lol(mad free-range supplier lol). All went down within 2 days of laying. Also 2 of the eggs seemed to loose the outer shell but still have hard white membrane around them, what on earth is going on with that??
