How long do mama chickens

I have 6 2 month old chicks. I got the eggs from a friend cause I had a broody hen. She hatched them out and has been a great mama. My question is, How long does the mama raise them?

It depends, some will continue to raise them even when they are adults, while others may stop when they can barely fend for themselves...
