How long do turkies live?

They can live a prettttty long time! My guy is probably about five years old now. They can live upwards of ten years or so.

My Naragansett Tom is 6 years old and I have two Naragansett hens that are about 8 years old and still laying eggs and setting nests. Since my Tom is a very lovable pet, I hope to find out that they live a very long time.

If you've got a broad breasted your will be lucky to get a couple years out of a tom and another year or two out of a hen. They just grow so fast that their legs and circulatory system can't keep up.

I have a 10 yr old rio grande and black spanish toms and they are still going strong! i had read 10-15 yrs we shall see!
