How long do you keep them in the brooder?

Hi, How long do you keep your chicks in the brooder for?

Til they outgrew it.
Then they went to a bigger brooder.
When they outgrew it, they went to the small coop with a heat lamp at night.
Then they outgrew the small coop and now they're in the large coop.

In other words, they need enough room to grow healthy and they need to be warm until fully feathered. They shouldn't be mixed with large chickens until they are large enough to handle it. I don't free range but I did take the girls out to a pen often on warm days. They need enough room to run and stretch out their wings.
