I was wondering how long everyone lets their eggs sit before they put them in the incubator? Also why is it good to let eggs sit before putting them in the incubator? I just got my first batch of shipped eggs and I'm trying to get everything right so that if things go badly I won't blame myself.

Transportation can jostle the eggs around alot- . The air sacs can sometimes detatch- and also the inside of some eggs can be literally scrambled - Resting them just seems to work better for some people I usually let them sit for 24 hours before putting them in the incubator- then also wait 24 hours before the first turning starts.
