How long does 1 lb of food last?

I want to know how long a 1 lb of food last. I'm getting 4 chicks but one of them is a Silkie.

Depends on a few factors like how easy it is for them to waist it. Not long though. If they are day olds and don't waist much 3 ish days. Mine always waist some. They should always have feed for them to eat at this age.
