How long does a molt last

Hi I have a D,uccle that is going through a molt but how long does it last her comd is very dowl looks with a grayish color she has not layed in months I can’t remember when I last got a egg she does not seem to be losing to many feathers just a little on her neck but that’s it I will try to get a pic tomorrow of her how long does a molt last and does this sound like a molt to you thanks

Anywhere from a couple weeks to a couple months. Greyish comb does not sound good.

As was said above, it could be a few months.
The winter weather is probably making your hen stop laying, as well as the molt.

Thanks every one th only thing is she’s not losing any feathers really like just a little by her head that’s it is this still a molt
