I have four cayuga duck eggs, it's halfway through day 27, i started seeing movement 3 days ago, and yesterday one of my eggs was wiggling like crazy and now barely any movement from any of them all day.
I'm thinking they'll start up again at around 8 because they're resting and absorbing their yolk but i'm literally going insane checking and staring at the incubator! There's not the tiniest crack that i can see D:
How long 'till the actual hatch starts probably?
I think i heard tiny pips last night but i don't know and i don't want to disturb them...

What are your temps as well? I believe that can affect the hatching process time.

My temp has stuck at 99-97° lately but its mostly at 98° and the hygrometer reads 86%

Hi! I'm awaiting my first ever hatch of 1 duck egg and 2 goose eggs. They were all wiggling yesterdat at day 24 in the incubator. Today, the duck egg has internally and externally pipped, however, there has been no change singe this morning, other than wiggling. I'm on pins and nedles and find myself sitting in a chair staring at eggs. I think I may need psychological help.

What's the humidity at?? What kind of ducks? I believe goose eggs take longer, do you have both in lockdown???

Oh, forgot to mention, my temp is 99.6 and humidity at the beginning until day 25 was 65%, now that they are getting ready to hatch, humidity is at 78%

Well 65% is to high for day one thru 25 you should have had it at about 50-55, now that you in lock down you have it at 78%. Well 80 Will kill them. You need to lower it that is if they aren't sticky already.. I would try and reduce it to 70 no higher then 75. But they may struggle because it was to high in the first place..

Keep me updated..
