How long does hatching process take?

My temp has stuck at 99-97° lately but its mostly at 98° and the hygrometer reads 86%

Am I reading this correctly, your humidity is at 86%...

If so I would consider getting that lowered... But you may want to do a quick candling to make sure they are still alive. If they were moving three days ago and they are not now, it's probably because your humidity is way to high. Try lowering it and check for movements, if none in a few hours you may want to candle them..

If you have a fan, your temp needs to be around 100, if no fan, your temp needs to be around 101, if you have anything lower exspect delays. Give them an extra day to compensate for the low temp.

I'm not really clear as to why you guys have your humidity so high, it's not necessary, yes they are ducks yes they are water fowl but no they haven't quite developed there lungs to take in all that water yet.

Okay so now i'm a little worried,
They've been moving a little but not anywhere near enough to get hatched, is this bad? is there anything i need to do, also if needed, how to i remove the water from the tray below without disturbing the eggs too much?
I would be absolutely devastated if they couldn't make it This is my second round of eggs because my homemade incubator was an absolute flunk

See, this is what bothers me. I have been looking for the right answers on humidity from day1! I have asked here(not on this specific thread) I have searched the internet, and I have watched youtube videos. I have not seen the same answer twice! So, if they don't hatch, I can't blame myself as I have honsetly tried to find the right answer from the beginning.

Don't worry about it too much, i think being exact doesn't matter an awful lot since there are so many answers.

If u got to my website www.lwbarnhouse.com. Click on the duck tab, I have posted two methods that i have used in hatching call ducks. Both works for chickens as well with the exception you don't most or sponge a chicken egg. There's a lot of different in formation some of the information I have noticed is for a wet bulb which is misconscourge. We usually do the regular gage method.
