How long does it take for new hens to start laying?

Ok, this is my second post.......

I got 2 RIRs and a Dom 4 days ago. They are all around a year old. They had been laying according to the guy I got them from. I know stress of new place and all can stop them from laying, but I was just wondering if there is a general time period.

The ladys seem to be adjusting well and they are the only 3 hens I have.

It can take them from a few days up to a month. So be patient

It took my girls three or four days before they started to lay again. They will lay, just sit back and breath a little (I was checking on them every couple of hours)
