How long does it take to hatch??

This was them yesterday it is the one that is leaned against the one standing on the right side that died
:hitSo sorry. :hugs
I apologize if you've already said. .but what are you feeding them?
Also Check their vents for pasty butt. I lost one duckling to what I think was pasty butt this year, and fought it with two others for several days. Basically that's when their poo is thick and sticky and builds up on their bum preventing them from relieving themselves and they can eventually die if it goes unnoticed. :(

They are so adorable. Probably just something with this lil one that passed. If the others are fine hopefully they will stay that way. What about the temps in the room your keeping them in? They need to be at least kept around 80-85 for their first week.
Thank you. I wasn't too sure the others are fine they was in the water this morning. I'm not too sure about the temputure but its really warm in there I just turnt the heating off in the house don't really like putting it on in the summer but the house is really warm without it. I'll will put the heating plate back in for them though

It would be a good idea to have a thermometer in their brooder so you can keep track of the heat especially before putting the heat plate back and yes check for pasty butt I have never seen that on any ducklings here so forget that can be a major issue.
And feed are you supplementing if using chick starter. They do need extra niacin.

All of them accept from 1 brown one still have abit there and they get crumb and stuff stuck to it so always cleaning that. The ones I have left 1 has a big stump bit left and 2 has a little left and then 1 has nothing so I'm not sure but guessing not?

Thank you I have to buy one later on. Thanks again. I'm using chick crumb which says suitable for duckling's as well.

This is the three that has them still they kept moving so couldn't get a good picture of them. The only one that hasn't got it no more is the brown one. The first one is the one with the stump still and the others still has them but only abit

Hard to see them. Are they open or dried up? Do you have any betadine? or Chlorhexidine? I am sure @shawluvsbirds can give you more advise than I since she probably has seen this I don't use a bator.
They are dried up. I have Chlorhexidine but have to go get it as its at my stables. Never thought of that as it says on the bottle for dogs and horses never thought you could use it on poultry
