How long does the average Orphington chicken live.

Hi everybody, I was wondering about something. I had chickens now for 15 or 16 years. 3 years ago I got interested in Orphingtons. For some reason they don't live as long as the other breeds. I had chickens that lived to be 13 yrs. old. Does anyone know how long the average life is of the Orphington? Mine are huge and look almost like turkeys any comment is appreciated. Thank you.

Orpingtons should live as long as the next chicken. From 8 years to 15. If yours are dying at a couple of years old then I’d be looking for an underlying issue.
