How long for an egg to hatch....

Started my incubator going on July 1st last Wednesday 14 hatched. All doing well today I noticed that 1 of the eggs still in the incubator was still rocking ( I was about to empty the remaining eggs today ) on closer examination there is a hole on one side which appears to having a bit of the chick coming out. The hole is not getting any larger, though it does still move every now and then this has been going on for hours... I am struggling to not interfere and help it out. Is there much chance of it getting out? How long can this go on ? It has been rocking since the others hatched, which is why the incubator is still going.
Any advice would be helpful thanks

Depends on what kind of quail but I thought 16 days.

Keep humidity up and give it a bit more time.

That's what I have done hopefully no.15 will get out and be okay.

Are they coturnix? 16-18 days is generally the hatching window. There’s still time for this one to pop out. Hopefully he’s not stuck in there.

He was stuck....and unfortunately didn't make it.
