We are in the middle of day 22...
finally one pip this afternoon.. YEAH!!!
humidity 66% temp 99.6 both holding steady

how long does it take for them to hatch once they pip? no other eggs have pipped..

Once there was a pip, not too much more happened.. the hole looked a little bigger before I left school. ( incubator in my classroom)

oh yeah.... we are using a Brinsea Octagon Advance

THANKS

Ditto on above! I just had a pip at 10:30pm and then a zip/chick at Midnight. Another one pipped at 8:30pm and as of 15 mins ago no change

Not if your thermometer is correct, however, quite often they are not. I keep mine at 100-101 and they usually hatch on day 21-22 which tells me it is not accurate. So I know what to expect.

My first 3 hatches this year were all over the map.. and this is in the SAME bator, same temps, same humidity, only difference was the eggs were from different sources. The first hatch had first pips to hatch average about 12 hours. The next hatch first pips to hatch was almost 24 hours, and the next a few took 36 hours! The rest were right around 24 hours. I have no idea what took those last ones so long.. but all are healthy and happy.. so who knows. A few of those ones that took longer I wanted to crack open the bator and help them.. but I resisted, they were just slow
