How long from pink faced pullets till they start laying?

I think the pinking is a sign that it is coming as it indicates the hormone changes happening for them. Not all show the pinking as some that have different color combs n wattles might not show the pinking by much.
Behavior is another indicator.

My girls are 1 RIR, 1 Wellie, 1 Silver Sussex and 3 SG Dorkings. Sadly no Barred Rock girls here yet.

Some are getting pink in the comb and wattles and some aren't yet. The Sussex girl is getting quite pink which is a surprise because I expected her to be the slowest to mature and last to start laying. Guess she's going to prove me wrong.

My chickens combs went from flesh color to pinkish red in about 2 weeks time and then they started laying all within days of each other. I no longer pay attention to the number of weeks they are... I just wait for the combs to change color and I know it won't be long till laying.
