How long from starting Layer feed till eggs appear??

I don't feed layer til I see the eggs start to arrive- and actually now I feed flockraiser after the starter/grower since roosters should not have layer feed. I always have plenty of oyster shell available to the hens to free feed and feed back crushed eggshell with the treats in the afternoon.

As long as you crush them up it's not a problem.
