How long hens are fertile from one breeding??

How long should hens be kept away from ALL roosters, to be sure she will be breed by the rooster of CHOICE?????
 
One month to be absolutely certain. I have had hens keep sperm until 23 days, but generally they keep it for approximately 3 weeks.
