How long should I keep a light on my chicks????

My chicks are 10 days old. I have a 250 watt light that I use during the day when I'm home to watch. At night, I put them on the kitchen table under a 75 watt light. How long do I have to do this? It is 68 deg in my house at all times. They do not go out. Any input is appreciated.
