Hi everyone! I'm a new egg here and I really need your help. I have six Barred Rocks that are 12-14 weeks old. I think I have at least two roosters in the flock. I purchased 5 BO's(12 weeks old) 2 weeks ago and have had them in a seperated area till I was sure that that were healthy. Well today I tried to introduce them to my BR's and they apparently didn't like any new company. I have them wired off in the same run and need to know how long it will take for the old flock to accept the new hens? Should I just let them get picked until it stops or should I wait several more days and hope for the best!! I appreciate your good help!!

If there's some minor pecking and fussing going on without bloodshed, they should be fine. Make sure nobody's being kept from eating or drinking.
If they fight to the point of bloodshed, more seperation time is necessary.
Good luck.
