My EE chick from first hatch, a yellow/dark chipmunk stripe one was born with yellow legs that turned to grey after 3 days or so I think. In my 2nd hatch, from 2 days ago, the 2 yellow EE chicks have yellow legs, the rust color/chipmunk stripe one had legs already grey for the most part. How long is the norm for leg color to set in? I have 2 jersey giant chicks that are a week and a half old, their legs are dark grey, with yellow toes that are slowly starting to get the grey spreading into them. I am hoping for the slate legs on my EE's for the egg color.
