How long till hen has pure fertile eggs?

    I finally got a polish roo. He has been quantined for a month now and all looks great!
    So now I will be putting my polish hens and polish rooster in a pen together, the hens have been in our mixed breed pen with other roosters.
    So how long do I need to wait till the eggs pure polish after putting them together?

    I haven't done the separation of breeders yet, but Quail_Antwerp told me it was at least a week.

    Just to be on the safe side for PB's i'd say a month or at least 3 weeks

    I am no expert, but I have heard a hen can be fertile from one mating up to 3 wks.

    Sounds best to wait four weeks thanks all I'll have to post some pictures after I do our first hatch. He is a lovely roo! And so sweet!
