How long till they start laying?

I recieved a pair of D'Uccles and introduced them to my other birds today. How long will it be before they mate and she starts laying?

First, are they laying now? How old?

I'd give the fertile thing a few weeks.

I don't know for sure how old they are as they were dumped off at one of my 4-H leaders' houses. I know they are purebred and she was laying at the house I got her from but I was wondering when she would begin laying here and when she would start laying fertile eggs.

Likely the shock of the changes have her off kilter a bit.
Give her another week of settling in, finding her place in the scheme of things. Comfortable with feed, roost and laying box.
