How long to cool meat birds before freezing?

My first ever batch of meat birds processed today 9 of them from 6.5 lbs to 8.5 lbs all went well from all I learned here thx. Now I have them in. Refrigerator my? Is hoe long do I need to keep them in cooler before freezing them? On here it sounds like not to freeze right the same day is that correct? Thx for the help

Congratulations!! I rest them for at least overnight (try to 24 hours) and sometimes a few days before freezing.
