How long to isolate new chickens from current chickens

I bought 4 young pullets from a gentleman and was wondering how long to keep them separate from my current birds? I have them in a separate cage but eventually want to set that inside my big pen so they can get used to each other before putting everyone together. So I guess I have 2 questions- how long to keep them totally separate and how long to keep in the pen but separate. These are my first fairly little chickens and I can see how they can be addictive!! Thanks all!

Technically, 30 days quarantine would be best. After that, a week or so of integrating and allowing current birds to see but not touch.

Thanks jdywntr. If i get more pullets from the same gentleman, would you follow the same 30 day isolation policy?
