How long to keek eggs waiting on a hen??

My silky started laying about 12 days ago, and she has laid 8 eggs, I have put them in a safe cool place so snakes won't get them. When should I give up on her and put them in a incubator

Most people suggest not letting a pullet hatch a clutch of eggs... They aren't fully grown, and the stresses of sitting on eggs can be bad for them.

My silky has already hatched two chicks, which a feral cat got them the first time they got out, ( missed with the shot gun). she waited about a month before she started laying again. Now I am weighting on her to go broody.
