How long to keep a chick with a splinted foot separate.....

How long do you think i should keep my little chickie with a splinted foot separate from the others? I have her in a smaller box inside the big cage with one other little girl in there for company. She is still a little unsteady on her feet but doing so much better than she was when we brought her home. The store just gave her to me with the others I bought today when I brought to their attention she was laying on her side and getting trampled, so I brought her home taped her up and gave her a little extra attention along with another little lady that we lost a few hours ago. I did put her in with the others for a little while but I was afraid she would get crushed in the huddle since she is still weak.

I would wait until she is walking weel enough to atleast get out of the way .. I have seen far too many babies trampled because they couldnt get out of the way.. Please update and let us know how the lil one does...
